“You are my blue crayon, the one I never have enough of, the one I use to color my sky.”
It was a gorgeous Summer day in the Karoo, Frans-Meyer and Kira decided to tie the Knott of Frans’ family farm. Kira, a free spirit, soft and extremely warm personality and Frans-Meyer, the engineer with a fun adventure seeking heart are definitely some of the coolest people I know.
Since I know Frans-Meyer my whole life, I can tell you how these two met. We were in school in Burgersdorp and as a small town is whenever there is a new girl in school everybody noticed. Well, Kira was the new girl in school, Frans-Meyer noticed her 😉 they became friends and the rest is history. I can describe it best like this:
“We grew up together, and now we can grow old together”
I love shooting weddings like these, it stirs up my heart seeing a couple like this so in love with each other personalities, being proud of where they come from and the sense of deep friendships could be seen all around.
Frans & Kria, thank you for taking me on this lovely journey with you, trusting me 100% from the start. I loved being part of your story. I pray that you always be best friends, your love for each other will grow day-in-and-day-out.
