Janus and Monique are just one of the coolest couples, they made us feel welcome and like friends from the moment we met.
Janus and Monique both grew up in a small town. (maybe that was our instant connection) They seemed to have met when they were still babies or a toddler and a baby :), but only really got to know each other later in life. The two long distance for a bite, while Monique completed her degree in Potchefstroom. Got engaged and finally tied the Knott. I love it when I met a couple who just have this longing to do life together. I pray that you always protect this longing for each other, and fall even more in love with each other!
Thank you for trusting us to capture these memories for you. I hope you love the photos as much as we did taking them for you.

I had the privilege to attend Rensche Mari’s Wedding workshop. It was amazing and I learned so much I can already see how my business developed since the Workshop in March. For my photographer friends if you are looking for a game changer workshop attend RMW it is so worth it!
As part of the workshop, we get to Photograph a styled session.
Enjoy the black and white color palette with me and be inspired!

Ek deel so ‘n klein deeltjie:
“T.T Cloete skryf in een van sy gedigte aan sy vrou: “Kyk ek na die melkweg, in die gras, in die water, na die boog van die aarde, altyd iewers is jy ingepas.” Dit is met geen toeval dat wanneer ek die letters in jou naam herrangskik, dit die Engelse woord “Rain” word nie. Alles omtrent jou is ’n verfrissing vir my siel.
Dit is soos musiek in my ore en dit laai my siel. Jy is my perfekte lewensmaat, my sielsgenoot my beste vriend. Ek het die een gekry waarvoor my siel lief is. Jy was soos ‘n ster vir my, vêr stil & rein… my siel die donker water waar jou beeld in skyn. Ek kan dit nog steeds nie glo dat jy myne is nie.”
“Welcome to Wonderland, should we go on an adventure or should we have tea first?”
Since I moved to Bethlehem last year September I had a dream of doing a styled shoot in collaboration with local talent! I met up with Stephani of Ruby Whoo Event Makeup and Elize form All in One Party Hire, they were just as excited as I were and we started to dream together…
We decided to go for a moody color palette, rich textures, and vintage furniture. I love how the combination of color and texture adds something unique to our wedding design. This is a bold concept and it somehow makes you feel you are Alice in Wonderland.
If you plan to get married in the Easton Free-state, we are your suppliers!!
Thanks for everyone’s hard work and for making my dream possible!

Viv & Rochel’s wedding is a picture of all my favorited things: Love, family, Karoo, friends, farm, rain and the joining of two beautiful families. There were so many special moments at this wedding, knowing Rochel all my life made it even more emotional. Rochel is a talented architect with an incredible ability to put things together. Her autumn, Karoo inspired theme was stylish, elegant and fresh. Viv and Rochel story begins in East London, with lots of adventures and stories to tell these to decided to tie the Knott on the 24 March 2018 on Rochel’s family farm. It was a beautiful day. Viv and Rochel thank you for taking me on this lovely journey with you… I loved being part of your perfect day.
I pray that the rest of your life would be even more special than your Wedding! Bly altyd so lief vir mekaar!

“Sweet Caroline, (Bah Bah Bah) Good times never seem so good”
If you ever been to Prynnsberg in Clocolan, you know that this place leaves you with a feeling that you’ve somehow time-traveled into a different era. Prynnsberg can be best described as the architectural jewel of the Eastern Free State, the magnificent sandstone buildings, rich historical history orchestrate the best two-day wedding festival. What made this wedding so special is the fact that it was a celebration of two families becoming one. I love this wedding, the atmosphere, energy and the general “vibe” was so exciting and energizing.
All the best for the newly Weds and their new adventure.
My love, it is a long time from here to the stars so let us travel the rest as one.” – Atticus
“You are my blue crayon, the one I never have enough of, the one I use to color my sky.”
It was a gorgeous Summer day in the Karoo, Frans-Meyer and Kira decided to tie the Knott of Frans’ family farm. Kira, a free spirit, soft and extremely warm personality and Frans-Meyer, the engineer with a fun adventure seeking heart are definitely some of the coolest people I know.
Since I know Frans-Meyer my whole life, I can tell you how these two met. We were in school in Burgersdorp and as a small town is whenever there is a new girl in school everybody noticed. Well, Kira was the new girl in school, Frans-Meyer noticed her 😉 they became friends and the rest is history. I can describe it best like this:
“We grew up together, and now we can grow old together”
I love shooting weddings like these, it stirs up my heart seeing a couple like this so in love with each other personalities, being proud of where they come from and the sense of deep friendships could be seen all around.
Frans & Kria, thank you for taking me on this lovely journey with you, trusting me 100% from the start. I loved being part of your story. I pray that you always be best friends, your love for each other will grow day-in-and-day-out.
“How long will I love you, as long as the stars above you…
and longer if I can” – Ellie Goulding
Marcell and Marnie tied the knott in Bloemfontein at the beautiful Pepper Tree venue. It was a lovely December day and the couple looked gorgeous.
Both Marnie and Marcell are high school teachers at Grey College where these lovebirds met and fell in love. I met Marnie when I was still in University and Marcell just before they got engaged, it feels like I knew them forever and we could be lifelong friends. Whenever you get the combination of awesome guest, a lovely venue, perfect weather and festive vibe you know you’re bound for success.
Congratulations Marcell and Marnie on your beautiful day!
I love you, for all that you are, all that you have been and all you’re yet to be ~ unknown
Bloemfontein always has the best spring weather, and for these lovebirds wedding, it was picture perfect. The couple tied the knot at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the celebrations continued at the lovely Warm Karoo & The Kitchen. There wedding was festive with lodes of dancing and fun. Defiantly the best party of the year.

Frans-Meyer is one of my oldest friends, we grew up together and share wonderful memories from our farm adventures. I met Kira while I was still in school, and the same for these love birds. Frans-Meyer and Kira are High-School sweethearts. After seven years down the line Frans got down on one knee and the rest is history.

This glorious life is not simply to endure it, but to soar, stumble and flourish. Learn to fall in love with life’s existence. We were born to live not to merely exist. Ek love winter troues! Ian & Lane julle troue was n fantastiese “winter-bruilof-fees”.
